A reactive partnership with a beloved friend group from Wales that the internet dubbed The Welsh 5.
How it started:
In December, 2025, a group of Welsh tourists visited NYC, flooded everyone’s FYPs with over-the-top, enthusiastic reviews of unremarkable American destinations like Raising Kanes, T.J. Maxx and Crumbl Cookie.
The opportunity
Riding the wave of their popularity, we proposed a partnership with Tripadvisor to sponsor another trip to America - this time to Miami to experience the Everglades, a luxury yacht, The Palace Bar and more.
How it went
The group posted 20+ pieces of collab content throughout their journey garnering tons of reach, positive sentiment and exposure for Tripadvisor among Gen Z.
Reactive social:
Tripadvisor posted a carousel recap of their journey, tagging the group. The entire Welsh 5 commented and reposted within an hour, making the post go viral. Their fans rabidly demanded a partnership.
